2nd Birthday

So Monday was Tayvon's second birthday. We had a dinosaur birthday party with all of the family in town. It actually turned out better than I thought. It's really nice when they are old enough to play games and interact with their cousins. I got some sand so that they could dig for dinosaur bones, which didn't turn out how I thought it should, but they all loved digging in the sand. Then they played stick on a dinosaur, it amazed me how much fun the kids had. Tayvon had a blast with all of his cousins that live around here and eating his cakes. Tayvon wanted a dinosaur cake , hence the dinosaur party, but the day before he was stuck on having a bee cake. Not really sure where that came from. Luckily I miss read the instructions for the dinosaur cake and had extra cake. So when my sisters showed up I put them to work creating a bee cake. Got to love sisters, because you can boss them around and they still love you! Anyways it was fun to just get together with family and celebrate when Tayvon came into our lives. It's amazing to me that he's two, but it hard for me to remember life without him. Were grateful for such a wonderful boy. So I decided that I would mention my favorites lately from him; when he's done something he's not supposed to be doing he likes to say "I no mean to Mom, rorry." The other day we went to get the mail and he told me wanted to go home and I told him we were home, he told no grandma's house.

Blessing

So I completely love this photo of Bryant and Maddie! This was right after we blessed her and they are both actually getting along with each other. Which is a rare occasion. It was really neat we had all of Bryant's eight siblings and all of my six siblings. So when we have family get togethers its quite an event. Later in the day we had a little lunch in at my brother's house where we sat out in the heat under canopies. T(my brother-in-law) held Madison for me and kept putting wet paper towels on her to keep her from getting to hot. I think he really enjoyed how Maddie reacted every time he put a cold cloth on her. All of the kids which ends up being close to sixteen had riot with Terry's sand box and little tramp. When we got home later that night Tayvon was full of sand. It was a really fun day to spend with family and have the opportunity to bless Madison. Also here is cute picture of Tayvon and Madison.
