Fancy Nancy!

Today the girls and I went to a Fancy Nancy Tea Party at the library! Such a cute thing, wished I had been able to stay a little longer with the girls. They were making wands, crowns, fans, Boas, and paper dolls of Fancy Nancy. Tonight putting her in bed she said, "Mom thanks for letting me dress like a princess!"

So Fancy!

Mom wanted some pictures!!

Leaving the house!

Eggs!!

Lately I have been enjoying one of my favorite little things, no not eggs, but BREAKFAST!! The man does not care for breakfast unless bacon is involved! Which unless I want to buy a new wardrobe you can't have bacon every morning! Also just an FYI we have breakfast everyday, but not what I consider a real breakfast. A real breakfast to me has at least these three or so components eggs, orange juice, and something like or similar to pancakes. Personal favorite is my mom's German pancakes, which are pretty much an easy crepe. Any who how, (Bern talk), two reasons for this post first I found a recipe or very close to it that I have been searching for the at least the last ten years. I am posting it, but here's the story behind it; in high school our softball team went to a tournament in St. George and we left extremely early in the morning. Our coach had it set up for us to stop half way at his parents house where his sweet little mother had made us all breakfast!!! It was amazing! His mother had made this cinnamon syrup that was to die for but wouldn't give us the recipe. And so that is when I started searching for something close to what I experienced at my coaches parents house. I will say this, I first had this with pumpkin pancakes and that made the syrup better than with just plain pancakes. If you don't like cinnamon don't try!!
Here's the recipe;

Cinnamon Syrup

1 cup sugar
slightly less than 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup evaporated milk

In a saucepan, combine sugar and cinnamon. Pour in corn syrup and water and stir to dissolve. Boil, stirring constantly 2-3 minutes. Cool. Stir in evaporated milk and serve. Refrigerate leftovers. I added about two tablespoons of butter that I stirred in at the end.

GOOD Luck!

The second reason for the post is Tay, eating her eggs! Madds, Taters, & me laughed so hard at our little girl eating her breakfast! Thought we would let you share in our moment.

We look over and eggs are on her face.

Then we saw this! Taters was laughing so hard!

Tay decides to take a break!

Now licking her bowl!

Must have been a good meal, if it ends up all over your face!

Blizzard!

The beginging of Febuary we had a huge snow storm! I don't think it was as big as the 22 inches we got in Logan once, but it was up there. They just dont have all the snow equipment that Utah does! Here are some pictures of us enjoying the snow!!

I just loved watching her!

Another day in the white stuff!
