Madds 3rd Birthday!!

ICE CREAM, ICE CREAM we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!



Our beautiful little girl, Mads turned three in June, just a couple of months ago. Mads is really the sweetest little girl, and also very emotional! That could just be that she is a girl! We love her & her love for everything girly! Ok and just so i have this recorded somewhere her super cute dimple on her cheek is from running into the door jam, but oh how cute is it!!




Mads had an ice cream party, which in June their was nothing ice cream that I could find around town except for ice cream bubbles and since then I have found everything under the sun ice cream.


The cake pops turned out!! Ya except that everyone wanted the triple scoops.



The homemade ice cream was the bomb, glad we have good friends willing to help!



After a million attempts from every child at the party, The Man and Mads were able to bust open the ice cream cone!!

Trip Home 2011

Ok here's some more from our trip in May!!

Helping Grandma Tami with the yard! Cane the raspberries, cutting down dead trees, and cleaning the pond!

Taters and Grandma were the only ones who could and dared catch the goldfish to put back in the pond after cleaning everything in and around the pond!! This is Taters holding one of the goldfish!




Everyone but Lyn, Terry, & Uncle Allen who helped in the clean up!! So much fun to be together and work with family!

Quick Trip Home 11

One night late the man and I had this conversation about a previous boss who's health was headed down hill. We decided that if worse case happened we would head home for the funeral. So in May we had the opportunity to go home!! Not that home isn't here in Iowa, but for me anyway Bern will always have a very special place in my heart. It also just happened that my cuz wedding would be about a week after the funeral. So the kids and me were able to stay a little bit longer to enjoy family. Here's some of my favorite memories from the trip accompanied by pictures.
