The Man's Family Pictures 2011

So within a week we had family pictures with both sides of the family. I am glad we were able to all get together and have family pictures. Unfortuately I just have us not everyone yet!! Whoops!

So these our of our family. If you saw them all you would be laughing your socks of at our Taters ( he's such a character) i tried to put the ones where he's kissing all the girls, to make us happy. Layer was tired and hungry and would not smile until she was holding yo yo ( my mom's baby yorkie)

Palmer Halloween!

This year was our last Palmer Halloween. We have loved being able to dress up for a costume contest. Tater and Madds loved helping get there outfits ready this year for it. The kids were lucky enough to win again this year. Here's some pictures!So I am the Mad Scientist, Taters as Frankenstein, Madds Frankensteins Bride, and Layer a ghost!

The Rental!

So when the man and me came to Oregon to find a rental it was a nightmare! We looked for five days straight. At least eight hours a day!!! We found two places that we were interested in, but it was going to be three grand for a month to month lease. All I can say is that just seems so crazy! Any how we ended up getting a place next door to the doctor who the man is doing his preceptorship. The man had to do lots of painting and lamenate flooring, but totally worth it so that we only had to pay the monthly payment. Amen! Well my brother wants some pictures of the rental and most likely the area, working on that one. Here's some of the house a couple weeks ago so i have more stuff put together. Madds 3rd Birthday!!

ICE CREAM, ICE CREAM we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!



Our beautiful little girl, Mads turned three in June, just a couple of months ago. Mads is really the sweetest little girl, and also very emotional! That could just be that she is a girl! We love her & her love for everything girly! Ok and just so i have this recorded somewhere her super cute dimple on her cheek is from running into the door jam, but oh how cute is it!!




Mads had an ice cream party, which in June their was nothing ice cream that I could find around town except for ice cream bubbles and since then I have found everything under the sun ice cream.


The cake pops turned out!! Ya except that everyone wanted the triple scoops.



The homemade ice cream was the bomb, glad we have good friends willing to help!



After a million attempts from every child at the party, The Man and Mads were able to bust open the ice cream cone!!

Trip Home 2011

Ok here's some more from our trip in May!!

Helping Grandma Tami with the yard! Cane the raspberries, cutting down dead trees, and cleaning the pond!

Taters and Grandma were the only ones who could and dared catch the goldfish to put back in the pond after cleaning everything in and around the pond!! This is Taters holding one of the goldfish!




Everyone but Lyn, Terry, & Uncle Allen who helped in the clean up!! So much fun to be together and work with family!

Quick Trip Home 11

One night late the man and I had this conversation about a previous boss who's health was headed down hill. We decided that if worse case happened we would head home for the funeral. So in May we had the opportunity to go home!! Not that home isn't here in Iowa, but for me anyway Bern will always have a very special place in my heart. It also just happened that my cuz wedding would be about a week after the funeral. So the kids and me were able to stay a little bit longer to enjoy family. Here's some of my favorite memories from the trip accompanied by pictures.

MADDS Hair

The first part of May, our sweet little girl decided to cut her hair!! I had done Madds hair and on our way to pick Taters from school she pulled it out. Something that she'd been doing pretty often. We had her friend Little K over and the kids were playing in there room. Taters was busy with Legos, and I thought the girls were playing dress ups. I had gone up three different times, every time Little K was in a different outfit Madds was in the bathroom. Which there newest thing was to get changed in the bathroom. The man was home and I had to run outside because someone was dropping something off. When I came back in the man said that that I should sit down, I said no what happened. Then I freaked!! Granted her reasoning was real, she just wanted to get her bangs out of her face. Taters had taken some sissors upstairs without anyone knowing!! So here are some before and after photos!!
